Tackling India’s poverty is no small task. We have been working in this area for most of our professional lives and now, this initiative brings together uniquely talented people to make change happen.
As a recognized industry Social Enterprise is in its infancy in India and with the downturn in the non-profit sector, few agencies and organizations have the skills and resources needed to use an enterprise model to fuel change and increase reach of healthcare.
Over the years that we have worked in different fields, we have observed that the above strategies can help reduce cost while not compromising on the quality of care.
We are aware that while these strategies have worked in the past, to actually achieve the goals and mission of 4B healthcare, we will need to continuously refine and upgrade them. We love research, reading, argument about, and above all implementing of new ideas and strategies, as long as they help us make healthcare accessible.
You can read more about them in the coming days over at our blog Healthcare as social enterprise that explores this relatively new area.comments, links and ideas are always welcome.
